I wonder how my old friends in old Natchitoches are getting along. Some people like France, but here is one soldier boy that don't like it at all. For Christmas we had a big parade and we had President Wilson and General Pershing with us and as the band played Dixie, every soldier boy wanted to step. This is a fine country for some People, but I would sure love to get out of it and let them have the whole thing. This little town I am in is Humes, France. The American girl need not be uneasy about her sweetheart in France, for the French girls don't look half as good as the American girls. Good bye with good wishes to every body in old Natchitoches. Hoping I will be back in a few months. CRIT H. ROGERS
