I am looking for a FPOC by the name of Louis Martin JeanLouis, or Toussaint JeanLouis, or Balthazar Toussaint JeanLouis or Francois Balthazar Delahoussaye? He supposed owned a plantation in Natchitoches Parish until the Civil War, when he was thrown off of his property. His mother was a FWOC named Marie JeanLouis of Lafayette Parish. After the Civil was he sued his borthers to reportion his mother's estate because he was left out of the division of the property. Most of the documents I've found pertaining to him in Lafayette Parish, he is listed as Louis Martin JeanLouis but I suspect he used others. It seems he used several, which has resulted in difficultly in finding him in any census records. Any help anyone can share would be greatfully appreciated.
