Hi Everyone!!!! I just took a look at Glenda's Natchitoches Parish Page and she had done a great job on it!!!!!! The pension records that she added a link to were donated by the Louisiana Genealogical & Historical Society. They also donated the Bible Records "Be It Known and Remembered" and the Soldiers of 1812. We are very much in debt to them for also donating all the cemeteries and census records that have been published in the first 40 volumes of their publication. These will be typed and posted in each of the respective parish archives. I am planning on being back in Natchitoches the month of June to gather more information from old Newspapers and to video tape several of the older, larger cemteries. It will take me time to get all of this transcribed, but I in hopes that it will help all of you in finding those long lost dead relatives!!!!! My great thanks to Danelli Faccone for all the hard work she is doing in Natchitoches to help Kay and I out. She does the leg work............the hardest part..........and Kay and I just type!!!!!! She called last nite to let me know that she has put in the mail to me a whole stack of copies from the older Natchitoches Times of births, community news notes etc. She is also said that there is a cemetery working at the Rachal Cemetery today and she will video tape it and get it to me to transcribe...... That means Kay and I get to keep typing and getting more information out for ya'll to use. Gaytha Gaytha
