Submitted by Gaytha Thompson MRS EMMA B. GLOVER Natchitoches Time March 08, 1907 Death of Mrs. Glover Mrs. Emma b. Glover died a the home of Dr. J. B. Hargrove of this city at 9:00 o'clock Friday night aged 33 years. Mrs. Glover was a sister of Dr. A. R. Browne and a sister in law of Dr. J. B. Hargrove, both of this city. She leaves two children both girls and many other relatives and a host of friends to morn her. The funeral took place at Viva to which place loving hands took the remains to rest in the family burial grounds. The Times joins the community in sympathy to the orphan children and other relatives over the loss of this good lady. FRANCIS ARTHUR TAUZIN Natchitoches Times Aug 23, 1907 Died at 5:45 O'clock a.m., Wednesday, August 21, 1907, Francis Arthur Tauzin, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Tauzin, aged 9 months and 16 days. The grim reaper has appeared again and robbed another home of its happiness. Little Arthur was the pride of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Tauzin and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. F. M Tauzin and Mr. J. F. DuBarbus. The earthly remains of the little fellow were laid to rest a the Catholic Cemetery yesterday. The Times joins the community in heartfelt sympathy. E. F. TAUZIN Natchitoches Time Feb 03, 1908 Well Known Planter Dead E. F. Tauzin, the well known planter who resides at Grand Ecore, four miles from here, died Monday, December 30th at his home. Deceased was universally known in this parish were he has resided all his life. Services were held in the Catholic Church in the city at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday and the remains were laid to rest in the Catholic Cemetery to which place they were escorted by a large circle of mourning friends and relatives. The immediate cause of the death of Mr. Tauzin is a relapse of the measles. His recovery was deemed certain but when the symptoms reappeared it was seen that he was doomed and death came to his relief at the time stated. Deceased leaves a widow and five children to mourn his untimely loss. It is useless to offer those sorrowing ones consolation in this hour of sorrow. But the sympathy of the people of the parish is manifest. The family looses (sic) a kind husband and father and Natchitoches Parish a worthy citizen and a true friend.
