Campti Dots Source: Natchitoches Times Sept 2, 1904 Submitted by: Kay Brown A fishing party composed of Mr PA Cloutier and family, Dr EW Breazeale and family and Misses Pearl Cloutier, May Hyams, Emma Breazeale and Cora Perot and Mrs Harriet Breazeale spent last Sunday on Black Lake, they caught more fish than they could eat, and report a grand time. New buildings are going up every day and our working Mayor Mr. Tom Hart has an up to business, he is seen every day on the streets with the prisoners making them repair bridges, dig ditches and keep up the repairs in general. The whistle of gins, boats and locomotives give this little town a general hustling appearance. Miss Fannie Wolfson of Coushatta was a visitor during the week, also Mr L Geeson and Joe Henry. A wagon full of children chaperoned by Mrs JD Hyams enjoyed a moon light ride Wednesday night.
