The Natchitoches Times Aug 15, 1913 CLEAR LAKE Mr. Jessey Frederick, our new postmaster, received a notice for the department at Washington D. C., of an increase of our mail to twice a week. It is due to the good management that Mr. Frederick has given the ovvice. Mr. Albert Frederick of Gorum spent a couple of days with his brother, Jessey Frederick, this week. People of this neighborhood are busy canning and preserving fruit. It is only a question of time when all the fruit in this neighboorhood will be put up.
