3. Hi my name is Kay Thompson-Brown and I am Gaytha's daughter. I wanted to say Hi to everyone and let you know that if you have any questions please feel free to contact me as well as momma and I will try to help out anyway that I can. I'm hunting all over Natchitoches Parish for my husband's family which they are BROWN GARTMAN MILLSTEAD WATLEY/WHATLEY And tooooo many other's to name. Jerry (my husband) family is from right outside of Natchiotches in Oak Grove and that is where they are buried in the Methodist Church of which if anyone has any info on it I would love to hear. Again welcome to the list and please do check out the Archives and the Parish page. We are adding daily to it and anything you would like to contribute please put to either the list or send by email to me or momma & we will get it up. Kay

    3. Hi! My name is Gaytha Thompson and I am the list owner for the Natchitoches Parish Mailing List. My daughter, Kay, is maintaining the mailing list as I also maintain the Archvies for Grant, Rapides, Sabine and Natchitoches Parish. As of today there are 38 signed on to this list. I started the list in hopes that it would help in researching our families in Natchitoches Parish. I live in Nashville, TN and know how hard it is to try to do research from such a far distance. I have lived here for 11 years but my husband and I lived in Natchtioches and raised our children there. Our home is in Tn, but my heart is still in Natchitoches!!!! I also wanted to let everyone know that I just updated the Natchitoches Archives yesterday and today. I have uploaded the 1810 census and am working on trying to get the 1820 census transcribed to upload. Glenda Myers has done a great job on the Natchitoches Parish Page...........she has a lot of information there. The Archives are just plain old pages and Glenda's are in beautiful living color!!!!!! Be sure and visit both sites often!!! Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana Genealogy USGenWeb Archives:Natchitoches Parish, Louisi... I am researching the Anty family in Natchitoches Parish and in the surrounding parishes. Once I got started I added the allied families as well. I am willing to share my information with anyone to help further their family research. If anyone has bible , obit, marriage, birth, baptism, land, military records that they would like to share with everyone, please send them to me so that I can put them in the Archives and Glenda can use them on the Natchitoches Parish Page. Introduce yourself to the mailing list and let us know what family or families and what time frame you are searching in Natchitoches Parish!!!! Gaytha Thompson

My family is unrelated but I have the article because at the time I thought it might have been the site of the "Live Oak Hotel" (Theodore Schuman proprietor). A different address is suggested by other documents.... I apologize for the misunderstanding and the waste of your time. Frank

    3. Bob Kuhn: Fleur de Lis B&B on Second St. really nice, as is the Brevelle House (Kate Chopin was a frequent guest there). Cammie Henry Room at Northwestern University good place to look, as is Courthouse (of course). Let me hear from you - I, too descend from Anty, Vercher, & Gallien. My father was born and raised in Cloutierville. Lynda NGHA wrote: > Bob: I want to apologize to you for not responding to you.
