I suddenly find myself needing to replace my 10 year old Dell PC, which has Windows XP. After hearing horror stories about Windows 8, my local computer guru recommends I get a new Dell PC with Windows 7. Is that compatible with Family Tree Maker version 2005? I will happily upgrade to a newer FTM version if I must, but don't want to have problems and not be able to use/access all my files from FTM!
