I remember when I was a child going to Bothwell Bridge and Drumclog for remembrance services for the Covenanters with my dad (probably 45 years ago). One of my relatives, James Aitkenhead of Kittochside was on the Fugitive Roll of 1684 and my father is very proud of his connection to the Covenanters, he will be greatly saddened by this news.
