Pollokshaws and Eastwood are connected and Pollokshaws is in Eastwood Church Parish. It can be confusing because there is a modern district called Eastwood in Renfrewshire. There is also a small housing estate called Eastwood just south of Pollokshaws.    All of Glasgow south of the river, Gorbals apart, was once in Renfrewshire.
