I have an HP 1300 series Photosmart too,they're good ones. ..but I also have a Flip Pal scanner as well..my wife wouldn't let me take a photo out of a large group of photos she has in a frame..so I used the Flip Pal to scan it in the frame and it turned out quite well.You can take the Flip Pal anywhere with you and scan relatives photos.It saves to an SD Card and then you can down load to your computer.
