Hi all, looking for some help re offspring of this couple. We know of one son William who migrated to Perth WA in 1855. He was a 16 year old who went alone. I have checked Family search but nothing pops up, nor does Ancestry give any hints. I am checking the census but again the names are very common. William was the father of a soldier who died at Fromelles in WW1. To look for matching family members we have to go back to William's parents and start from there. Hello Marg, There is a web site for the Metropolitan Cemetries Board, Perth Western Australia which has good records, that might be helpful. I did see a William Walker who would have been born in about 1838, but didn't spend too long on it. It might be possible to find something on the National Archives of Australia World War 1 records too, but this might be difficult as the search won't be for the father, rather the son. I haven't checked to see how many records there are to look through, but as I think through this, this one might be just too difficult. Good luck with the search.
