Hi, I have been having quite a bit of success on using the Glasgow Herald newspaper via google newspapers, regarding Births, Deaths and Marriages But get stuck when I do not have a specific date and only a year to search. I have quite a number of people who I only have the year of death from using Scotlandspeople site. Either I have not purchased the certificate due to costs or it is past the time frame and would need to order it, again costs when these are really the side lines rather than direct lineage. So I was hoping if anyone knew how to do the searches via the site: google.com/newspapers/ Glasgow Herald 1966 Alexander Simpson or something like that? Anyone tried it, or anyone give me an idea how to work out date of death regarding scotlandspeople.
