Good morning Have just "upgraded" from Windows XP, because the support for this ends in April, to Windows 8.1. Very interesting I must say but I have "misplaced" a lot of my address book. If you have written to me recently or just want to say "Hi" please feel free to do so. Also I am still looking for links to my paternal line of STEED. My grandfather was Andrew born in 1874 in Dalmellington Ayrshire and died in 1943 in Stevenston Ayrshire. He was married to Elizabeth LENNON born 1881 Stevenston and died in 1969 again in Stevenston. Her parents were Patrick LENNON and Marion McCARTNEY and his were Andrew STEED and Eleanor McFADZEAN (he died in Glasgow after being run down by a railway engine in 1894). This might seem as if it should be on the Ayrshire list (which it will be) but the STEED/STEAD family did live in the Bluevale Street Glasgow area for some time as well (at the time of Andrew's death in 1894 they were at 38 Clova Terrace Uddingston).
