    3. Mine is I1, not common for Elliott's, but I have been told that I come from Border Scots, but maybe 500 years ago.     3. McNeill Y-DNA descended from Lachlan McNeill of Tirfergus, Kintyre 1611-1695 is I1 (tested to 37 markers through Family Tree). Lachlan was from earlier Gigha McNeills. Bonnie.
