    3. Hello again all, I am having trouble reading GGG GF's profession in the 1861 Census. Does anyone want to have a go at reading it, and I will send the image ? John McCletchie was at 209 New City Road, St Georges at the time, and at his death 3 years later his occupation was given as Water Surveyor, so it has something to do with this and the Glasgow Corporation, I think.
