Interred in common ground, 15th January 1909. If he was, as stated in the records, buried as a pauper, I doubt very much if there was a newspaper obit: I have given this information out already - it rings a bell! If, as a pauper, he ever applied for Poor Relief there should be a copy of his application in the Glasgow Room at the Mitchell library. An e-mail might elicit the looking up of his name on the computer based indexed but a photocopy of any record will cost 10GBP. But sometimes these records have an amazing amount of information.
