Hi Alastair, I can guarantee you, that, at least in Coatbridge, MacDonald is not the only name! A Large number of my Lindsay line were born and lived there for most of their lives. I have 14 deaths specifically in Coatbridge, and another 17 in Old Monkland, and there is still much digging to do on this Lindsay line. And births: 58 in Old Monkland, and 62 in Coatbridge, another 6 in Gartsherrie. As for McDonald (or Mac, whichever you prefer): Janet LAMBIE m. William McDonald, around 1910-1920. Lizzie CULLEN m.
