I wonder if we know what we have lost. A wonderful genealogist and historian, we all know that, but again, I ask, do we know what we have lost. I have no less than eleven messages that he sent to the list that I have retained. He was a friend of everyone and I am sure he must have helped hundreds in their search of their Scottish roots. He could add a bit of Scotland in everything he wrote. We shall all miss him. Maisie, thank you for the poem, a proper and perfect tribute.
