If anyone on the List has happened upon any data (from Census or elsewhere) on the employees etc of the Omoa Fireclay Company (making bricks etc) or the Clelland Pottery Company ( making stoneware jars and bottles etc) I'd appreciate a transcription ... They might mostly be young women, or girls, and craftsmen 'Turners' or 'Potters' or 'Kiln attendants' etc. There were also 2 steam engines and stables on the site, so there will have been 'Engine keepers' and 'Stokers' and perhaps 'Carters' or stable lads ... ? Omoa Fireclay traded from about 1880. Clelland Pottery from 1895 to perhaps 1928. Thanks in advance ... G Russell
