Hi Elizabeth, Some years ago I came across this in Wandel & Lamington O.P.R. 'This register 1 October 1783 ends and a new one is begun commencing with the Act of Parliament for Charging a Tax upon Burials, Marriages and Christenings.' Hope this is of some help. Janet
