Hello Catherine, If you have traced your ancestors back to William and Catherine, and have an idea who their offspring were, I would suggest looking at Scotland's People. www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk This is a subscription site, payable by credit/debit card. You get 30 credits for 6GBP which is about $9. US. On there, you will be able to search for birth and marriage records, both from Parish Records, and statutory records.
