Is anyone researching the Burnside families of Lanarkshire? I have found a Mathew listed on Ancestry.com in the 1851 Scotland Census who was born in Ireland about the same time as my ggg grandfather, Samuel who immigrated to American in the early 1800's. There has been a discussion on the Mid-Antrim Yahoo mailing list about the travel back and forth from Co. Antrim to Scotland and I know the Burnsides were originally from Scotland - just trying to find additional family members - if possible Thanks for any help! Linda Holley
