Hi List: I found Woodyett on two maps 1. Explorer Ordnance Survey 335 Lanark & Tinto Hills Lesmahagow & Douglas as well as 2. Ordnance Survey Landranger Series, sheet 72 Upper Clyde Valley. Just a little west from Lanark Townsite ( but still in Lesmahagow Parish ( I think) you will find Kirkfieldbank. Lanark Road A-72 . West on that road from Kirkfieldbank to the first junction going left (south) . Follow that road and it turns west about 1/2 mile then you will find a road off the highway to your right about a 1/4 of a mile. That is the road that takes you into Woodyett. It does not say farm, however I would think that it would be Woodyett farm houses. To make sure you have the correct location, if you look very close to straight north about 1/2 mile off the A-72 road to the south you will see Linnmill. Another confusing thing to me is there is no "wood", however, perhaps there was when the farm was named. I hope these directions are clear enough however I get a little confused on the Scottish Road numbering system. I hope this helps. Regards Frank Easton Sherwood Park AB, CAN
