I couldn't find a marriage on Scotlands People between a Thomas Barr and Jessie (or Janet) Burlee or Buslee. Was Thomas their only child? I am assuming that you haven't found his birth certificate as you say that he was born "abt" 1865. So how do you know the names of his parents? Do you have Thomas's and Jessie's death certificates?
