I am looking for a James Douglas Campbell, a welder, who went to Leeds but came home to Scotland (1930)to marry his bride Elizabeth Scoular Burnett. Sometime after the marriage they moved to Brisbane Australia. Was there any shipbuilding industry in Melbourne? I know I had a first cousin here who was a welder in the ship building industry in Victoria British Columbia during the war, so this could be a similar situation. Comments please.
