I have done a bit of delving into the Shotts register, and I think Claud is probably one of mine, but I still need to do a bit more to confirm it. I think that ultimately all the various Claud Stor(r)e/i(y)s are named after Claud Naismith, who was an uncle of one of the earliest Stor(r)e/i(y)s. Best wishes Anne
