Shirley, I have a Stark marrying a Russell in Carstairs in mid 1600s. I also have some Starks in 1800s around Carnwath. I also have some Russells down to the late 1800s. I do not see any matches to your names, but if you can send me some info on your earlier Russells I may be able to match someone for you.
