Where was the child born in 1857? Did it have a name? Anne

Re that reply. I have a family in the same position. I have George ROBB and Alice STORRIE who married in November 1842 at New Monkland. The two registered children that I have for them were born in 1857 and 1859. There must have been earlier children as I know they had a 26 year old grandson staying with them at the 1891 census with the surname Nichol - which suggests he was the son of a daughter. Has anyone come across this family - perhaps through the marriage of earlier children? I would love to fill in the gaps in our tree. Doreen. -- I am using the free version of SPAMfighter. Find the families you seek in the 1851/1861 census which will fill in most gaps. Then go for their death registration which tells you who they married and then you can back-track and fill in the rest. Cheers!!!
