Hi Jean The National Archives has Apprenticeship records,I checked some years back on my own apprenticeship with Aitchison Blair of Clydebank and it was listed..I never got around to actually ordering the records.. I was apprenticed as a Marine Engine Fitter from 1951 to 1956.
