Thanks Roda, I will try the Mit5chell as you have suggested. I make Glasgow fairly infrequently but I think a day there would be well-spent. They seem to have so much! The image conjured up by the Industrial Schools and their function is salutory. Before I read about them I had thought children catchers were a figment of Walt Disney's imagination, but it seems they really existed! Thanks once again, John
