BOYD, sorry, no connection to my line of BOYD, although my line has basically been fleshed out, and i can't confirm the connection I have to previous generations. IE: Gavin Boyd m. Jane Cooper around 1798, this is the earliest date I have. i have a strong possibility for Gavin's parents, but since Gavin died before 1855 I don't know of any way I can confirm it. LINDSAY. Quite strangely I have a Lindsay/Moffat marriage in my line, although it is the next generation down: John Lindsay m. Janet Moffat 1900, Wishaw. And apparently no connection to the one mentioned. Janet is the daughter of Robert Moffat and Helen Walker. John is the son of James Lindsay and Agnes Calderhead.
