Hello Fellow Listers Joan Gillespie, married Andrew Baxter b. 1861 on 7 Aug. 1891 at Polmont, Stirlingshire. Andrew died 4 April 1910 at Polmont. Their children were Anne b. 1885, Harry b. abt. 1894 d. 8 Oct. 1911 and James b. 7 Mar. 1901. Andrew, Joan and Harry are buried in Polmont North Churchyard. Andrew's parents were Henry Baxter and Ann Scobbie. I don't know any more about James and Anne. Anyone see a connection? Hi Elizabeth Henry Baxter b.1837 d.1890 husband of Ann Scobbie b.Abt.1839. His parents are Susan Baxter and John Baxter. Susan is the daughter of Andrew Baxter and Jean Thomson, who I mentioned in the original e-mail. Do you have a connection to this Baxter line?
