    3. Hello: Are there any Quaker records available for the Glasgow area? I am looking for PURDON family in the 1700s and early 1800s. Thanks.

    3. Hello The Religious Society of Friends (Scotland) has a website here http://www.quakerscotland.org/welcome You could use the "contact the webmaster" button at the bottom of the page. He/she may be able to point you in the right direction. The National Archives of Scotland in Edinburgh holds some Scottish Quaker records, including some bmd records, under ref CH10. But the bmd records are for the Edinburgh meeting house.
