Hi Listers, Before I send out this ED, I need to let you know just how unusually this enumerator approached his task. First, birthplace detail tends to be cryptic, although at times has more detail than usual, as in a few cases mentioning the county in Ireland of birth. Usually though, its just a parish or sometimes just a village name, with no county. The strangest habit though is that if the head of household is a coal miner, then his spouse and all his childreb, sometimes down to infants, are coal miners also! Obviously not the case. Well, at least he remembered to fill his pen with ink, which is more than I can says for some. Smile emoticon Jim Bundy
