Hi Margaret Just to confirm that there is an 1821 and indeed a 1783 census for Lesmahagow. 1821 census Entry no 209 William Weir at Woodyet with wife "M Sewers " 5 males and 5 females living at that abode. In the 1783 census there is a John Leuars and Jean Scot living at Burn. Hope this helps Robyn
