Thanks to all of you who responded re the above couple. When the census says 5 males & 5 females do those numbers include the parents? Are they named at all? What kind of informatin does the 1783 Baptismal census actually show? I have found the marriage of William WEIR & Mary LEWARS as well as that of John LEUARS & Jean SCOTT & the death of William at Scotland's People although that doesn't necessarily tie them to us! As far as William's parents go, I have "found" James WEIR & Jean MARSHALL although I'm not sure these are accurate. If they were to follow the naming pattern James was not the first boy but John....
