After posting this inquiry I found what I was looking for was New Lanark World Heritage Site.   Beautifully restored 18th century cotton mill village nestled in the spectacular south Lanarkshire valley in southern Scotland, close to the Falls of Clyde ... If anyone else is interested I googled it.! Looks interesting! Thanks Margaret Ont Some time ago I saw advertised a village where you can 'step back' in history in The New Lanark area.  I would like to get some information but can't remember the name.
