I'm not sure about the Templeton's. I know that several of the Mitchell's were Warper's and Weaver's, so there is a good possibility there. I will have to check that out. I'll let you know what I find out. I suggested the 'carpet' link because a Mr Hilcoat who had been a Manager ( if not managing director ?) of Templeton's lived on the edge of Cambuslang in the 1950s in his retirement ... GGR
