Hi Bob, I can only offer an FYI. My ancestors were Andrew and Isabella (?) RITCHIE, probably born ~1800, but we don't know whether they were born in Scotland or Ireland. And we don't know where they married. All I know is that they had a daughter, Eliza, in 1837 in County Donegal, Ireland. We don't know about their other children at all. The related couple was William and Mary Ann (?) HANNAH and, just as above, we don't know where they were born ~1800. And, we don't know where they married. All we know is that they had a son, William, in 1828 in County Donegal, Ireland. Then William HANNAH and Eliza RITCHIE married in Glasgow in Dec. 1854/Jan. 1855. They had 2 daughters there, and then left for the USA in the summer of 1857. They came to Massachusetts and had several more children. I am descended from their 2nd daughter, Elizabeth, 3 mos. old when arriving in MA. (The first daughter did not survive childhood.) That is all I know about those couples. Betty (near Lowell, MA, USA) (Elizabeth HANNAH grew up to marry William KERR who had recently come down from Canada. His grandparents had left County Sligo, Ireland in 1820's. They were part of 5 couples in the Province of Quebec. William's parents were born in Canada in 1827, and most of the family came down to Massachusetts during 1870's/1880's. The parents might have been cousins, Robert KERR and Elizabeth HENDERSON.)
