People are quite helpful there. http://www.britishhomechildren.org/ This website is constantly being updated with people adding more children, more "sending agencies," and more links to other groups and sources of information. Hope this is of some help and interest to you and any other Lanark list members who may be looking for a relation who was sent away in the UK child emigration scheme. Note however that BHC only refers to children sent to Canada. There are other groups and websites about child migrants sent to other former colonies. Sincerely, Carolyn (with a BHC ancestor who was sent out from a reformatory, and not one of the larger agencies).
