I understand from Mitchell Library, that St Andrew's by the Green have a record of a christening on 10 Jan 1808 of John CAMPBELL, son of John Campbell soldier of 71st regiment.. I have searched Scotlandspeople with my remaining credits and there is no record of this birth. The Mitchell told me that they .hold early baptism records that do not appear within the Old Parish Registers and they have compiled a database of these. Is there any way I can get a copy of this particular birth/christening?.. Thanks a lot Gay..
