Marc, Perhaps the church may have been St Andrew''s by the Green...Episcopalian Church.. St. Andrew's by the Green was built in 1750, and is the oldest Episcopalian Church building erected in Scotland since the Reformation See http://www.gamh.org.uk/GAMHStAndrews.html and Wikipadia which says St. Andrew's-by-the-Green is an 18th Century Grade A-listed former church in Glasgow, Scotland, and the first Episcopal church built in the city. It is situated on the corner of Turnbull Street and Greendyke Street, overlooking Glasgow Green, on the edge of the City's East End. The Mitchell Library holds a database of Christenings at St Andrew''s by the Green, which are not included in the OPRs on Scotlands People and the Glasgow Archives are very helpful if you contact them.. I am searching for information on a Christening in that church as well.
