Thank you for responding Joseph B. Lambert, I am interested more in the earlier generations of Lamberts-Traweeks-Weaver-Ramsey connections. The earliest Lambert-Ramsey connection I have is when Martha Ramsey married William Lambert in Harris County on 6 July 1838 in Harris Co. GA. From what you said I assume(I know one does not do this) that William was a son or grandson of the John Lambert you mentioned. I have come across Alton Lambert's name from several other Ramsey researchers mentioning his name as a source for the Ramseys and Lamberts. I do know that Alton married a Traweek, or that is my info.
