Peter, Thank you for your advice. At this point, I am 90% certain that my Lambert line would have been Roman Catholic as Sarah observed the Roman Catholic rites of marriage, baptism of her children and funeral services (including a High Mass). Unfortunately, the marriage registers for Roman Catholics in Ireland do not go back that far. I am checking with the Pittsburgh Diocese to see if the John and Susan were married in Pittsburgh and whether I can find Sarah's baptismal records. Paula
