I have found court papers in Tazewell Co. Virginia that tell that Joseph P. Lambert is the brother of John P. Lambert and that Samuel is a cousin. In this case it refers to the sale of land between Joseph P. and wife Susanna to John P., it also mentions the exactors of the estate of John Sr. A copy of the land sale was entered into evidence and marked D. No money changed hand between Joseph P. Lambert and John P. Lambert, the sale was to secure the land from creditors and to secure the bail that John P. and Samuel posted for Joseph. Joseph P. was in trouble for making and passing two counterfeit bank notes. He was tried by a Special Court March 2, 1843 and the case was postponed to March 24 1843, bail was set. Joseph P. Lambert never showed up for trial. He is then listed as a non resident of the Common Wealth Of Virginia in court papers for the next four years. Sandra In FL and I have been going over the Josephs for sometime. She feels that Joseph born 1804 is the son of John and I feel that this new information along with other information that I have given to her proves that Joseph P. born 1793 is the son of John. We have never disagreed that John P. is a son of John (wife Pricilla). Thus with Joseph P. ( wife Susanna) being the brother of John P., Joseph P. would also be a son of John. If anyone would like a copy of these court papers I will make copies and send them out. All that I'm requesting is the price of the copies and postage. There are twenty pages. Frank M. Lambert
