    1. [LAMBERT] LAMBERT in England, Wales, Ireland.

    3. Hello Brenda et al.: I have stumbled across a couple of LAMBERT references in the north of Wales during my past research. My Welsh line, however, is WILLIAMS in Anglesey. (I sometime think the whole county was one family, or that they had very little imagination for last names). In particular, I am looking for Richard WILLIAMS, born about 1818 of Penmon or Beaumaris, Anglesey, Wales. My LAMBERT line connects to Sarah LAMBERT, born circa 1852, who in 1872 married James Edmund WHITING in the Abbey Church, Welbeck, Nottinghamshire, England. Sarah's father was Frank LAMBERT, a gentleman's servant, who was believed to have originally come from Ireland. Based on the 1881 British Census, he may correspond to the Frank LAMBERT, retired coachman, born in Ireland circa 1809. I would like to hear from anyone with suggestions as to how to track these elusive LAMBERTs. Good hunting........ Thanks Brenda (from a hot and humid mid-summers morning in Auckland, New Zealand)

    3. Mr. Whiting: My Lambert ancestor married into the Watters family, whose earliest member, William Watters, is said to have come from Anglesey. If you ever come across a Watters group in Anglesey, please let me know. Alternatively, do you know any specific sources of Anglesey genealogical information? Joseph B.
