Hello Brenda, To this time I have not come across the name Walter in any of the LAMBERT generations for which I have details. However by the early 1900s there may well have been one of the grandchildren with that name. Do you know anything about Walter {senior], eg. his parent's names or siblings? Please see our LAMBERT website at: http://www.heritagearchaeology.com.au/Lambert/lambert.htm Hope there is something there that may help make a connection. Yes, He was Forman Lighterman on the Thames river. I have obtained his 'apprenticship' details from Rob Cotterell The younger walter was a shipping clerk so it looks as if they had their own little company. thank you for your link, I will certainly have a look.
