The names are William H Lambert and his wife Nancy Jane Mason Lambert. They probably were born around 1850. Their daughter Hattie Lou Lambert was born 01 Dec 1893 She married Edgar Walker in Arkansas. The family migrated to Alex, OK, then to Oakdale, CA where they lived until they died. Any help will be appreciated because the information the family has given me is very little and much of that has been wrong. P.J. Beckham >
That sounds like he could be the son of William H. Lambert, who was the son of Joel Lambert and Mary (Polly) Morgan. The following is the totality of information I have on him: "William H. Lambert, b. TN, ca. 1811, m. Jane J. Bailey, d. Civil War, went to Arkansas." Joel Lambert was the probably son of William Lambert, who was the son of John Lambert of Rowan and Onslow Cos., NC. Joel began life ca. 1785 in Rowan Co., NC, married in Clarke Co., GA, in 1807, and died a relatively young man in 1832 in Limestone Co., AL. My ancestor, his son Asa Morgan Lambert (named after the father, Asa Morgan, of Mary Morgan), brother to William H. Lambert, also went to Arkansas, along with siblings Edward (Edwin) Rufus Lambert and Nancy Lambert (who m. Drury/Andrew Ragsdale). Where in AR was your William H. from? My Asa Morgan Lambert lived in Franklin Co., Prairie Township, near Fort Smith. One of his children also moved to OK. Sincerely, Joseph B.
