does anyone know about a Captain Lambert in Quebec around 1700's ... He supposedly owned so much land in Canada that half of Quebec was on his land. The Chateau Frontenac in Quebec was on his land as well. Or so I have been told. thanks Len ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sue Powell" <sue@thesquirrelhouse.freeserve.co.uk> To: <LAMBERT-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, August 20, 2000 2:55 PM Subject: [LAMBERT] LAMBERT and FRANCIS in STALBRIDGE, Dorset > Hi All > > Is anyone researching the following ? > > John Lambert b: 1867 > > Married > > Fanny Francis b: 1867 in Stalbridge, Dorset, England > > They had children > > Ernest And.
